Computers
The library provides a number of computers for student use on the first floor of the library, and wireless is available to connect to the network. All Midway College computing resource users are expected to practice responsible behavior and to utilize the network in an ethical and legal manner. See Computing Resource Guidelines.
Computer Etiquette
If you are engaged in frivolous or excessive personal use of a library computer and another student needs one for research or class assignments, you may be asked to yield to that student.
When using headphones, keep the level down so only you can hear them.
When working at a library computer, please work quietly. Loud laughter, shouting, and even normal conversational levels may be disturbing to others who come to the library for a quiet study setting.
Photocopiers
Two photocopiers are located in the library for student use. To help save on toner and printer, fit as much copy on a page as possible and use double-sided printing. It is understood that fair use is and copyright laws are adhered to when making copies.
