Hypothesis enables students to collaboratively comment on or annotate online texts, such as web pages, online PDFs, digital articles, or even specific course files in Canvas. Read below to learn more about Hypothesis

About Hypothesis

Hypothesis does not appear in the left navigation of a course. It is used primarily in Modules and Assignments (including SpeedGrader). It also supports Canvas Groups (See Hypothesis Social Annotation Now With Canvas Groups)

Grading with Hypothesis

When an Assignment includes Hypothesis, comments will be filtered to only show the specific student being evaluated in Speedgrader. To learn more, view the links below:
