Video

You may find that you need to create instructional videos to support student learning.  Here are some links to resources that support video creation.

One thing to note, if you choose to record a video using PowerPoint or iMovie, the files you will create will be .mp4 files. These files are very large and may not upload to Moodle. If they do, they may play sluggishly for the students. Please consider internet connection speeds and accessibility standards and upload your video files to YouTube.  You can share the link to the YouTube video in Moodle.  In this way,

  1. Students will be able to stream the video immediately and not have to wait for video file to load and play
  2. The video will play regardless of device used.
  3. Using the captions feature on YouTube, your video will be accessible and ADA compliant.
