Center@Midway Programs

Our Midway Faculty Development programs explore what it means to develop and demonstrate teaching expertise, recognizing not only the complexities of teaching, but also that teaching expertise is developed through a learning process that continues over time.

  • Faculty Development Institute is offered every Fall and Spring for the faculty at Midway University.
  • Adjunct Faculty Development Institute is a full-day faculty development opportunity for Midway Adjunct Faculty. Faculty can choose to attend online or enjoy the day on Midway's beautiful campus and attend in person.
  • New Faculty Institute held each year in August is a two-day New Faculty orientation for all new faculty members. This orientation is always held prior to the start of the fall semester, and aims to welcome new faculty to the Midway community and to help their transition to Midway be as smooth as possible.
